What are the technology requirements for this course?
You will need a computer, a high speed internet connection, a newer version of a web browser (Chrome is recommended), and access to common tools and software (word processor, PDF reader - Adobe, email etc...). Note: You can watch the videos on other devices such as smart phones and tablets but this program is optimized for desktop or laptop viewing. If you run into any issues watching the videos, please contact support.

I'm having trouble watching a video
Having trouble watching a video? Try some of these tips to correct playback issues.
Playback issues are bound to happen for some people. There are a lot of factors that influence video playback, so we’ve set forth some tips for ironing out the wrinkles on your own. The main factors to focus on are your browser, your network, and your device.
1. Clear Your Browser Cache
This step may seem simple, but it’s an amazing fix in a number of situations. Try clearing your browser’s cache and restarting your web browser. We always recommend this as the first step to troubleshooting playback issues.
- Chrome Chrome — > Clear Browsing Data or History — > Show Full History — > Clear Browsing Data …
- Safari Preferences — > Privacy — -> Remove All Browsing Data
- Firefox History — > Clear recent history
- Internet Explorer Tools — > Internet Options — > Browsing History
You can also “hard refresh” a certain webpage to clear the cache for that single page. This is typically done by holding Shift and pressing refresh or reload.
2. Check for Updates to your Browser or Device
It’s always a good idea to keep your software up to date. If you’re on an older version of a browser or operating system, there may be a bug that has been fixed with a more recent update. If a video is failing to play or consistently stuck buffering/loading, make sure you’re using the most up-to-date version of your browser or operating system.
This is especially true on mobile devices, as the difference between versions can often have serious implications for certain functionality being supported or not. For example, iOS only started supported silent autoplay as of iOS10.
Your videos should play just fine in latest version of most major browsers. These include:
- Google Chrome (which auto-updates)
- Safari
- Firefox (which auto-updates)
- IE9, 10, 11
- Microsoft Edge
We do not support IE8 in conjunction with Windows XP (for security reasons), but IE8 should work fine on other Windows operating systems.
Also our videos will work on any browser that supports Adobe Flash and/or HTML5v (in the form of MP4 video with an h.264). Most of the internet defaults to HTML5 in most cases. If, however, you find that your player looks a little different, you’re probably viewing the Flash player.
The requirement for viewing Flash content is Flash Player 9 or greater, and a browser that supports Flash. To check which version of Flash you are running, head to their download page. To ensure the best playback, we typically recommend remaining up to date with your Flash version whenever possible.
3. Try a Different Browser
Sometimes different browsers can cause problems. While we support all major browsers, certain playback issues are specific to one browser or another. Switching browsers may help clear up a playback issue. For example if you’re using Firefox and your video doesn’t play, but things are all good in Chrome, let us know! We’ll be happy to dig deeper with you.
4. Check Your Internet Speed
Are you experiencing slow loading, or seeing a “Loading … ” message on your videos? The most common cause of this problem is that your internet connection speed is not fast enough to support video playback reliably. We recommend a connection speed of at least 5 megabits per second for an optimal experience with HD capability.
Check your internet speed. If you’re not up-to-par, contact your Internet provider. If so, let’s move on.
5. Reset Your Internet Connection
Just like uploading, internet connection can affect playback. Try resetting your router and make sure you have a secure connection.
Still having issues?
Sometimes even after trying all of the above, the video just won’t play. In that case, it’s time to call for backup — our team is here to help. To get the fastest possible assistance, provide us with as many details as you can:

Who is The Primalgenic® Plan for?
The Primalgenic® Plan is designed to be a foundational approach to health optimization. Even though the common belief is that “everybody is different" and that different diets are good for different people, I make a strong case for why this very approach has (with certain modifications under certain circumstances) universal applicability for literally just about everyone. This program is carefully constructed to cover all of our most fundamental human dietary requirements, in direct alignment with human anatomy, physiology, along with our common human evolutionary and genetic heritage. This program also takes into account the uniquely challenging and toxic world that we live in today, in addition to the currently globally epidemic conditions of autoimmune disease and cancer.
Is this program suitable for children?
In short, yes... But with some important modifications. Establishing health optimizing habits at the youngest possible age is ideal (and can make it easier for children to maintain them into their adulthood). It is, however, critically important that babies, children and teens not overly restrict their protein intake. This issue is discussed in more detail in the program.
What if I am pregnant?
The Primalgenic® Plan certainly has every potential of supporting healthy fertility, fetal health and pregnancy in general, but the same caveats that apply to children apply to women who may be pregnant: Protein restriction is not recommended during pregnancy, immediately prior to conception and/or during lactation. Also, if you are already pregnant when wanting to start this program, I urge you to work closely with your trusted and qualified healthcare provider to determine what is best for your particular circumstance and help you perhaps adopt these changes in a more systematic, carefully monitored and cautious manner.
Who might this program NOT be appropriate for?
Persons having chronic biliary issues and/or gallbladder attacks may need to correct the underlying causes of these issues prior to fully undertaking the dietary recommendations (particularly as they pertain to increasing dietary fat intake). The issue of biliary problems is covered in more detail, and very helpfully within the program itself. Biliary problems (or not having a gallbladder) are not a deal killer for undertaking The Primalgenic® Plan, but certain precautions may need to be taken to enhance the safety and effectiveness of this approach. Also, this program may not be appropriate for persons looking for a “magic pill" or some instant shortcut to better health. There needs to be some willingness to take the steps necessary to make positive and lasting changes to your health and dietary habits. This program is not a short-term fix or some kind of “temporary" diet that you undertake in order to simply lose a few pounds. It is a comprehensive program providing you with the best possible scaffolding for building and/or rebuilding your best possible foundational health.
What if I am already at my perfect weight or underweight? Will this program still be useful to me (without losing more weight)?
Being underweight is not any more of a natural or healthy state than being overweight---even if this has been the case for your entire life. When someone tells me that they can't gain weight no matter what they do, it poses a bit of a red flag to me. Part of the reason may have to do with chronic malabsorptive or digestive issues that need to be addressed, or possible undiagnosed conditions such as celiac disease or chronic parasitic infections. I always recommend that you dig deeper to get to the root of this issue. In any case, it is possible to modify the dietary recommendations in order to better maintain healthy body weight without losing more than you want to.
What if I have tried ‘Keto’ before and it hasn't worked for me?
I'm not overly surprised. There are almost as many versions of ‘Keto’ (not to mention ‘Paleo’) out there as there are persons claiming to practice this. Unlike most programs created by entrepreneurs looking to get in on the gravy that is the current popularity of ketogenic diets (and awaiting their chance to capitalize on the next fad that comes along), I have more than 20 years of clinical background and experience, not to mention painstaking research and development of my own unique Primalgenic® approach designed to truly optimize health, without engaging in predatory marketing practices or marketing hype, much less fluff. I take my commitment to the health and well-being of every single person that seeks out my information very, very seriously. Also, in this program I cover most of the more common issues that people either knowingly or unknowingly run into that may potentially interfere with healthy Effective Ketogenic Adaptation (EKA). If any of the sticking points happen to apply to you, this program has you covered.
What can this program do for me that other, similar programs don’t?
This program is not simply some fly-by-night, short-term solution to things like weight loss or other complaints. This program has been painstakingly constructed for the long term support of health optimization, with no gimmicks, no predatory marketing, no pie-in-the-sky misleading claims or promises, and it respects your time and intelligence. Do I need to watch all of the videos in order? Should I only watch one video per day?
Although the videos are listed as being a part of “Weeks 1, Week 2 and Week 3”... The order in which you watch them is to some degree up to you. I do strongly recommend that you watch the first weeks’ videos in order, and that you complete all of the exercises suggested during week one in order to make the most of this program and better ensure its success for you. But if you recognize a certain condition or have a question about something that might be covered in a later video, you're welcome to go to those in whatever order make the most sense for you. Furthermore, you are welcome to watch the videos either one at a time per day, or more than one per day, as makes sense for your particular needs, interests and/or schedule. This can be flexible.
What does the phrase, “3-Week, Meal-By-Meal" actually refer to?
Along with each week's instructional/educational videos comes a PDF with both a Primalgenic® 21-day meal plan AND 60 mouth-watering recipes that you can use to additionally guide you through the process of adopting these dietary changes. You are not required to make use of all of the recipes, as general dietary guidelines are also provided in order for you to tailor the program for your individual needs and tastes, but you may find that the meal plan and recipes provide a helpful structure toward taking some of the guesswork out of the process.
What if I end up with questions that are unique to me and my circumstances?
This program provides you with access to an exclusive Primalgenic® Plan forum, where myself and others in this community can help offer you additional support and answers to your unique questions. It is not meant to be a substitute for health care or medical advice, however.
What if I have a pre-existing condition? Might this program be contraindicated? Or might it benefit my condition?
This program is designed to support your most foundational health and well-being. In addition to taking into account our most basic common human evolutionary and genetic heritage, The Primalgenic® Plan also cross pollinates these quintessential foundational principles with human longevity research, while simultaneously recognizing and compensating for many of the uniquely challenging and hostile world we live in today. The program also automatically takes into account the runaway globally prevalent and growing conditions of autoimmune disease and cancer. The Primalgenic® Plan does not purport to be any sort of treatment or cure for these conditions, but may absolutely healthfully support your best possible foundational health in light of them.
As with any pre-existing condition, there maybe bio-individual considerations and nuance that may need to be addressed with the help of your qualified and (hopefully knowledgeable) healthcare provider. Obviously, this program cannot take each and every person's unique supplemental requirements into account--but what it can do is provide the scaffolding upon which a better state of health may more easily be built and maintained, helping those supplemental requirements potentially work even better for you.
Although there are no hard-core contraindications, caution and extra care maybe warranted in circumstances such as gallbladder disease, pregnancy/ lactation, growing children, and other unique health concerns. Always consult with a licensing qualified healthcare provider before undertaking any major dietary changes. Additional medical support and monitoring maybe necessary in some cases.
What is the difference between The Primalgenic® Plan and the Primal Restoration® Certification Course?
Primal Restoration® is essentially a 52-week long, accredited certification course focusing on a deep dive into a variety of different health topics. It is useful for practitioners, and also dedicated laypersons alike, and provides a fairly sophisticated degree of both educational and practical information addressing a broad landscape of health related issues.
The Primalgenic® Plan is narrowly focused on the subject of adopting a Primalgenic® way of eating. It does provide some information that overlaps with some of the information taught through my Primal Restoration® Certification Course. That said, The Primalgenic® Plan is hyper focused on helping the average person successfully adopt this way of eating, while providing a plethora of useful education on the subject, as well as addressing many of the common complications, pitfalls and sticking points that people may run into while attempting to make a new dietary changes and/or adopt a more fat-based ketogenic dietary approach. The Primalgenic® Plan program also includes some newer published research and updated information on the subject, while also supplying additional practical information regarding this topic that my Primal Restoration® Certification Course does not.
Neither program supplies fluff or gimmicks. Both take your health and investment very seriously.
Determining which course is right for you is, of course a personal decision based on your interests and goals. Many of my students are enrolled in BOTH courses since they compliment each other very well.
Is The Primalgenic® Plan the same 21 day plan in your book Primal Fat Burner?
It is the same 21 day meal plan and recipes in my book, Primal Fat Burner (which I recommend is the supplemental “textbook” for the program). That said, The Primalgenic® Plan also contains a lot of specific information about how to best undertake this type of dietary approach (addressing different needs and circumstances), along with covering things like troubleshooting, possible caveats, potential pitfalls, myths and misconceptions, newer research and other details not necessarily covered in my book. It is a program designed for persons interested in adopting the diet they have read about in my books, but may need more help or handholding effectively implementing.
