This document (link to pdf below), published in May 2010 by the Rockefeller Foundation and the Global Business Network (GBN), is a virtual playbook for what we are seeing happening right now, globally–in direct relationship to the widely hyped COVID-19 pandemic. If you thought “Event 201” was troubling in it’s implications, then fasten your seatbelts.

I submit this PDF as a source of sober, thoughtful consideration for any of you that are inclined to connect the dots. Some might consider it fear mongering, but I submit that there are two different kinds of fear mongering: There is the type of fear mongering that makes up a story just to scare you, and then there is the type where someone attempts to awaken you from your peaceful slumber because your house really is on fire.

I submit (as most anyone with eyes to see might) that our collective house is burning.

The implications throughout this document for what is happening now and what is to come are obvious for anyone with eyes to see, and disturbing to contemplate.

It’s as though everything that is happening in the world right now was outlined in this document. The aggressive push for “Global political and economic alignment” is an overarching theme in it that we need to wake up to and take seriously. In it, constitutional freedoms are clearly a thing of the past–and summarily replaced by totalitarian control, largely modeled after Communist China, which is held up as a paragon of virtue and enlightened example. I wish I were kidding.

The document also outlines something known as “A Lock Step Future”, described as follows [with bold emphasis mine]:

“A world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership, with limited innovation and growing citizen pushback.” 

In it, it actually proposes the presence of a pandemic, and continues with the following:

“The pandemic that the world had been anticipating for years finally hit, unlike 2009’s H1N1….[it is] extremely virulent and deadly. Even the most pandemic-prepared nations were quickly overwhelmed… The pandemic blanketed the planet… Even in developed countries, containment was a challenge. The United States’s initial policy of ‘strongly discouraging’ citizens from flying proved deadly in its leniency, accelerating the spread of the virus not just within the US but across borders. However, a few countries did fare better–China in particular. The Chinese government’s quick imposition and enforcement of mandatory quarantine for all citizens, as well as its instant and near-hermetic sealing off of all borders, saved millions of lives, stopping the spread of the virus far earlier than in other countries. China’s government was not the only one that took extreme measures to protect its citizens from risking exposure. During the pandemic, national leaders around the world flexed their authority and imposed airtight rule; and restrictions, from the mandatory wearing of face masks to body-temperature checks at the entries to communal spaces like train stations and supermarkets. Even after the pandemic faded, the more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified… leaders around the world took a firmer grip on power.

At first, the notion of a more controlled world gained wide acceptance and approval. Citizens willingly gave up some of their sovereignty–and their privacy…

In 2025, people seemed to to be growing weary of so much top-down control and letting leaders and authorities make choices for them. Wherever national interests clashed with individual interests, there was conflict. Sporadic pushback became increasingly organized and coordinated, as disaffected youth and people who had seen their status and opportunities slip away–largely in developing countries–incited civil unrest…. [Citizens] began to grow uncomfortable and constrained by so many tight rules and by the strictness of national boundaries. The feeling lingered that sooner or later, something would inevitably upset the neat order that the world governments had worked so hard to establish…”

Are you feeling nauseated yet?

Well, there’s plenty more:

Under the heading of: TECHNOLOGY IN LOCK STEP they state the following:

“… The scenario narratives point to areas where conditions may enable or accelerate the development of certain kinds of technologies…”

“Technological innovation in “Lock Step” is largely driven by government and is focused on issues of national security and health and safety. Most technological improvements are created by and for developed countries, shaped by governments’ dual desire to control and to monitor their citizens.

Technology trends and applications we might see:

Scanners using advanced functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) Technology became the norm at airports and other public areas to detect abnormal behavior that may indicate “antisocial intent”. In the aftermath of pandemic scares, smarter packaging for food and beverages is applied first by big companies and producers in the business-to-business environment, and then adopted for individual products and consumers.

New diagnostics are developed to detect communicable diseases. The application of health screening also changes; screening becomes a prerequisite for release from a hospital or prison, successfully slowing the spread of many diseases.
Tele-presence technologies respond to the demand for less expensive, lower bandwidth, sophisticated communications systems for populations whose travel is restricted.
And by protectionism and national security concerns, nations create their own independent, regionally defined IT networks, mimicking China’s firewalls. [emphasis mine] governments have varying degrees of success in policing Internet traffic come up with these efforts nevertheless fracture the “World Wide” Web.”

This document goes on and on… It may as well have been published yesterday. And it is profoundly disturbing in its premeditated implications, and in the Orwellian future it portends.

Is this the world we want? It’s certainly the world that was mapped out for us in 2010.

The proactive answer to all this?

While we still have any illusion of Constitutional and human/civil rights, we must exercise our obligation as American citizens (or citizens of any supposedly democratic nation) to resist any and all threats to that by aggressively lobbying our elected representatives. We all have a small window of opportunity to participate in creating the kind of future we want and are willing to accept for ourselves and our children. Unless we act now—make no mistake– that future will be determined for us by those whose own interests are not necessarily remotely in alignment with the best interests of humanity.
